🏆 Webby Awards 2023 nominee, in the Science category, for the quantum optics simulator I lead-developed at CQT in Singapore, now Virtual Lab by Quantum Flytrap. The story is on the Quantum page.

Most of what I make is code, and most of it is not on GitHub. I am a full-stack developer, freelance since 2016: I have built two social networks and a trading platform end to end, in Rails, Django and Laravel, and that work lives in private repositories. What is public is on GitHub as sneakyweasel, since 2011: mostly the research and side projects described on the other pages.

🏗 In private repositories

Two social networks and a trading platform, each built end to end, in Ruby on Rails, Django and Laravel. They live in private repositories, which is why they do not appear below. The positions and their dates are on the About page.

Also private: frontier-lab, formerly btlab, the balanced ternary laboratory: exact arithmetic, the Juggler and 3n−1 programmes, a Lean 4 + Mathlib formal layer and a CUDA verifier (Python, Lean, LaTeX, CUDA). See Math.

🧰 Languages

Across the full-stack work: Ruby, Python and PHP on the server, TypeScript and JavaScript on the client, SQL underneath. Across the research and side projects, public and private: Python first by far, then Lean 4, JavaScript and TypeScript with Vue, LaTeX and Jupyter notebooks, and smaller amounts of Rust, C++, CUDA and GLSL. In practice: Python for research code, TypeScript and Vue for interfaces, Lean 4 with Mathlib for proofs, Rust when speed matters, CUDA when a search has to run on the GPU.

🔢 Number theory and formal proof

  • WarpPrimes - the generator behind my OEIS sequences, with a D3 Ulam spiral (Python, JavaScript)
  • padic-rust and padic-ts - p-adic number libraries in Rust and in TypeScript
  • Euler and DNA - Project Euler in Ruby, Rosalind bioinformatics in Python

⚛️ Quantum

🤖 AI and agents

  • genetic-growth - embryology-inspired growth encoded as a small opcode “DNA”, run tick by tick on a Voronoi tissue (TypeScript)
  • open-catholic - the Catechism of the Catholic Church converted to Markdown with internal links, as a readable text and a retrieval corpus

🔐 Cybersecurity

  • hhhhh - a hash length-extension attack tool built for the DGA CTF (Python), the practical side of the CTF and bug-bounty habit

🩺 Covid-19 open hardware

  • covid3d.org - the site I coded for COVID3D-APHP, the federation of 3D design and printing initiatives against Covid-19 in the Paris region, co-founded in March 2020 around the 3D-printing farm at Hôpital Cochin: the open-source models of protective and medical equipment designed for the crisis. The link is the archived copy.
  • COVID and COVID-FR - the list of open-source emergency medical hardware projects gathered at the start of the pandemic, now kept at AmisDesMalades/COVID
  • Respirateur-COVID - an emergency ventilator prototype built around an Ambu bag
  • OpenICU - ideas for a low-cost, high-grade intensive care unit

🎮 Games, graphics and visualisation

  • GameOfFire - the Quanta Magazine tribute to Conway (Vue, TypeScript)
  • HoloWeasel - a Looking Glass holographic display driven with Three.js and WebGL shaders (JavaScript, GLSL)
  • ts-grid - a TypeScript port of Red Blob Games’ grid parts: square, triangle and hexagonal grids with their edges, vertices and tiles
